In 2003 my husband and I purchased a small home and property which, over the years, has developed into a botanical and wildlife sanctuary. I will be sharing some of that journey along with tips and challenges. Our sanctuary is part of the United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary network.
I practice bioregional herbalism by noticing and cultivating plants that grow where I live. Plants encourage patience and wonder and teach lessons of abundance and love.
This is a journal of some of the plants with which I have formed close and important relationships.
